Memorial
To have loved and said farewell is better than to have never loved at all.
For all of the times that you have stooped and touched my head, fed me my favorite treat and returned the love that I so unconditionally gave to you.
For the care that you gave to me so unselfishly.
For all of these things I am grateful and thankful.
I ask that you not grieve for the loss, but rejoice in the fact that we lived, loved and touched each others lives. My life was fuller because you were there, not as a master/owner, but as my FRIEND.
Today I am as I was in my youth. The grass is always green, butterflies flit among the flowers and the sun shines gently down upon all of God’s creatures. I can run, jump, play and do all of the things that I did in my youth. There is no sickness, no aching joints and no regrets and no aging.
We await the arrival of our lifelong companions and know that togetherness is forever.
You live in our hearts as we do in yours. Companions such as you are so rare and unique.
Don’t hold the love that you have within yourself. Give it to another like me and then I will live forever. For love never really dies, and you are loved and missed as surely as we are.
Your Pets In Heaven

Rest in peace.

Bambi was one of a kind, my best friend, loyal. My first dog .Very intelligent.

Pixie was the best good girl. She was such a gentle soul, who loved being around humans more than other dogs. Her favourite human was anyone who was rubbing her belly at the time, or had a treat for her.

February 8, 2011 to September 9, 2024 When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind. Mr. McGee, you left so much love and so many precious memories behind. You will live on in our hearts forever. Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

April 12, 2012 to July 29, 2024 No longer by our side but forever in our hearts ❤️. Love you forever!

Our dearest Abby your mummy and daddy loved you so much! You were our entire world ❤️

Sox came to us as a foster at 12 tears old. He left us at 16 1/2. In those years he brought joy, love and happiness wherever he went. He was a clown, an imp, and a handful wrapped up in this lovable Beagle. He will never be forgotten and always loved. God bless you Sox

Kiera filled our family’s life with playful enthusiasm. She was a temperate and kind to all of our children, even as they learned their own manners. We miss her sleeping in the sunbeams of day and the gentle pat-a-pat of her paws on the floor.

Anni, our rescue pup brought us so much joy for 18yrs. April 4, 2004 - May 2, 2024 . Anni was incredibly smart, beautiful and loyal. She loved to perform tricks for treats and loved to cheer for our Maple Leafs. ANNI will be in our hearts forever.

We lost our sweet Cleo on April 16th 2024 – the saddest and hardest day of our lives. She was an amazing dog and brought us so much joy for 16 years. Our house and lives seem empty without her. We miss her every day but take solace knowing she is no longer in pain. We will love her forever and always.

You are so deeply missed buddy! We love you 💙🐾

Lexy was such an amazing dog, she was a companion, friend, and true member of our family. She would always pick up your shoe to welcome you at the door gazing up at you with those puppy dog eyes. She will be sadly missed and will forever be in our hearts.

Jasmine was an angel on earth and probably the funniest animal I've ever encountered. She lived for my daughter Felicity always greeting us with wagging tail and dramatic sounds. She was a gentle soul and the best companion you could ask for.

Our beautiful girl will be greatly missed. She'll always be remembered for her big cuddles and goofy personality.

In loving memory of Royal, 2012-2023. His furry hugs and wagging tail were a source of endless joy. The echoes of his barks and the warmth of his love remain etched in our hearts. Forever our cherished companion.

Sam was a fiery spirited, intense puppy that quickly matured into just the sweetest, most gentle soul. She was our rock. Nobody saw us through more challenging times than Sam did. Her inner flame burned brightly, right till the end, even when her body couldn't keep up with it. She taught us how to be strong, we will miss her forever.

Late, great Feline Overlord, Oreo How did I ever manage to eat, sleep, or go to the loo without his direct supervision? Gonna miss the bugger...

Abby brought laughter and joy into my home. Even though she couldn’t see, Abby was a brave and sociable kitty and knew how to entertain. I love you forever sweetheart.

Sampson, the quintessential best dog a family could ever ask for. You fulfilled our hearts with endless love and laughter. You were the friendliest dog who loved everyone. Until we meet again Sampson, run free, play ball and enjoy long naps in the warm sunshine.

Rooster was a stray kitten, 4 weeks old when he landed on our doorstep. We took him in and for the last 2 years loved him dearly. He was truly loved by his 4 human siblings, his doggo sister and his human parents. He will be missed.

Morgan was the sweetest boy you’d ever meet. So loyal and loving. He loved his walks and chasing the ball in the backyard. We had Morgan for 13 wonderful years. To say he’ll be missed is an understatement. I hope you’re running around pain free with your big brother Max. RIP sweet boy. You will be forever in our hearts.

Lou was the sweetest little dog. He lived for fetch, loved lounging in the sun by the pool and chasing chipmunks. Lou had a lifetime of love and fun in his short time here, and he will be missed by his family forever. We thank everyone at Allandale Veterinary for helping us to care for Lou with his cancer diagnosis.

Oreo was the funniest dog ever she was such a good player. And what she lacked in smarts she made up in personality. She was the kindest gentlest most food driven dog ever.

Although she was only with us for a few short years Marbel always brought love and joy into our lives. She will truly be missed.

Sky was commonly referred to as Mr. Handsome and despite what anyone tells you he was the most handsome kitty around. He was such a sweet boy and was always well behaved. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Ace was calm, loyal, and smart. He was the kind of dog that made other people want to get a dog. He is gone too soon and was extremely well loved by his family who miss him loads. August 3, 2017- March 5, 2023

Duke enjoyed a life of going to the cottage and Campground where many great grandchildren would take him for a walk. He was loved by many.

Cypher you had so much personality. The years we had with you wasn't enough😢 Miss you and your cuddles so much 💙💙💙

June 15, 2015-December 13th 2022 Our beautiful cat Sadie was such a bright light in our life for the short 2 years we had her. She always gave us so much love and never asked for any in return. She always looked so youthful, and never did we once think that she was so sick inside. She will always be our favourite girl. Sadie will forever be remembered in our hearts. We love you so much girl.

Pauly came into our lives in her senior years and what she lacked in youth she made up for in personality and pep. Her back legs may have physically slowed her down in her later years but she refused to let that get to her. She never met a treat that she didn’t love and never forgot a person that gave her a treat.

Pippi passed on November 22, 2022. She gave us 13 years of her life. Pippi had many duties - good morning alarm, front door greeter, sidewalk police, and various alarms throughout the day. She loved her family and had many kisses for us and anyone she met.

When Tango was a pup he was trained at a puppy school where he was first in his class. So well behaved. Tango loved to go for car rides. Tango loved his treats, baby sister and when he had to go to Allandale's for a check up or something else , he always wanted to greet the staff before he saw his doctor. Once he has seen by the doctor, that was it , he wanted out of the building really fast. Thank you Allandale Vet for giving Tango 10 1/2 years for making sure he was as healthy can be.

We adopted Frank over a decade ago and feel very fortunate to have had him as part of our family for so many years. He had a lot of spunk and personality but also loved his snuggles. We had so many adventures together and he was with us for so many important moments. We’ll think of you often and will miss you little buddy!

Hunter was a rescue from the Carolina’s that I adopted through Adopt-a-pet. The moment I laid eyes on Hunter I was in love. I almost cried. He was about a yr old and as loving as any dog I’ve ever had. I’ll miss you my big boy 💙 But we’ll meet again.

Thank you to the two little girls who found him as a kitten badly injured lying in the street and to Dr. Patricia Lechten who saved him and gave him to me. He was such a gift.

It broke my heart when Max left the world of our family. But I also felt in my heart, as he was passing, that the best thing for little Max was to stop his suffering and to let him find peace in heaven. I love you little Max. I think about you every day. xoxo

Roxie was my shadow. Even though she loved everyone, she was a one-person dog who loved her mommy, and I love her. Roxie was unlike any dog,, quick as a whip and very intelligent. There is an emptiness and I miss her so much.

Albert our Flemish Giant was an incredible companion. He brought us comfort and joy, and a lot happiness throughout his life. He will be greatly missed by all that came to meet him. We hope you are in a place with all of the blackberries and bananas that you desire

This is our precious Toby. He was the sweetest, gentlest little guy we’ve ever known. A devoted boy who loved children, babies and the elderly. We loved him dearly and will miss him terribly.

Dec 8 2005 - July 26 2022

Sempre was Keira’s big sister and a friend to all of Keira’s friends. She was wise and gentle with all of the animals in her life and happy to just be by your side. We will miss your beautiful spirit, Sempre.

Kita was the smartest girl who loved being with us. She gave us so much love in her short life. So many health issues but she tried not to show her discomfort. We miss you dearly and We can’t wait to see you again with Niko. Always my girl! 💖🐾 Thanks Allandale for all you did for her. Dr castelo was amazing and we appreciate her efforts very much.

Milly was really one in a million. She loved going outside and lounging on the deck in the sun. She could stay out there for hours and she would never run away. She also loved yogurt, butter and milk and would always come running if anyone was eating these things. She was so loved and her family will forever miss her. We love you so much Moo.

Maggie Mae left us on February 22, 2022, she was almost 16 yrs old. I rescued Maggie when she was 6 yrs old. From the first minute we drove away she was the best dog anyone could have asked for. She bonded with us that day and only wanted to be with us to give kisses and get pets. She loved her walks and her treats. She is missed every day. 💖

Rosie loved the cottage, one of her favourite places to be. It's not the same without you sweet girl! We love and miss you, forever in our hearts ♥️

Our special boy Charlie was only 3.5 taken from us too soon, but we loved him so much! He was a cuddly bear that loves food, his walks and his new baby sister ❤️ We miss him so much! Although Allandale does not bring back good memories, you all did such an amazing job of making our goodbye comfortable! Our poor baby went to sleep on May 14th, 2022, may be Rest In Peace

We lost Rocky on April 11, 2022 – he was born on July 7, 2007 (he was a “lucky”puppy – all 7’s!!) We will miss our best buddy, so kind and gentle – he was always there to greet us, he loved car rides, running in the fields and most of all, hanging out with the family We love you Rocky!

This is our dear Lexie. She was such an important part of our family's story. She had quite the personality, SO energetic, loyal and you could not ask for a better greeting when you came home. She kept us safe and brought us so much joy and happiness. She was taken from us too soon but she made such an impact in our lives and for that we are so grateful. She will forever be remembered as our "Lexie Bum". Thank you for everything you gave us Lexie Bum! We miss you more than words can express. RIP

Here is Sunny our favourite little Grump in the house. Sunny was always full of personality, and such a loving sweet pup. Sunny always welcomed anyone that came into our house with the warmest of greetings. Sunny loved to snuggle, and loved her treats. Sunny is deeply missed by her best buddy/fur sister Pearl, her Dad Chris, her Mumi Violet, her big brother Zach, and her sister Maddie. The house feels empty without our Sunny, but our memories of her will always stay in our hearts.

This boy was so special. He would look you right in the eyes, literally! Everyone who met him loved him, and he loved everyone he met. He was a dog who never did wrong. He went through his whole life as being the best boy. 4.5 years was not long enough with such a special soul. He was our best friend. The most kind, gentle soul to ever grace this earth whos left a hole in my heart the size of those giant paws...

Our hearts are so broken to loose you dear Cartie! We thank you for all the love you gave us for 14 years. I hope you found Elliot and Amara (Mar Mar) and are playing with no pain. Forever in our heart ❤️

Jenkins had a gift of sharing love and making a connection with everyone he ever met. Physical touch was his love language and he gave the best personal snugs, tailored to the person he was snuggling with. He had a peaceful, caring soul, and was there for us every single time we needed him. He was the emotional energy of our family and our home will never be the same without him.

Missed so dearly. Parker the smartest gently giant and the largest lap dog. You gave us some of the greatest memories ❤️RIP

Sep 17, 2017 - Feb 14, 2022 We didn't realize how much we needed you until the day you arrived into our hearts and our home. You were our perfect, sweet and gentle angel who brought so much love and joy. Your cute trot, paw taps, cuddles, sweet licks, soulful stares, our bedtime laughs as you thumped your tail waiting for our games, and being Daddy's "baby" will always bring a smile to our faces. You will be forever loved and missed and have a piece of our heart with you.

This is our Quincy he was almost 14 when he passed. We got him as a 8 week old puppy. He was a wonderful family dog and was happiest when everyone was together. We will miss him dearly. RIP “kinny puppy “

My Pandora, I miss your sweet face each day and can’t wait until the moment we can all reunite, never to part again. You will meet the new guy, Bear #2, and I’m sure you’ll love him. You were such a special creature and I miss you terribly. I hope you are now with Bear #1 again, and Kayla too, playing in the sunshine, hunting chipmunks. Lots of love, kisses and cuddles, Mom

Sadie is so deeply missed. Known tenderly by her family/friend as ‘Sadie-Daisy’. She a ray of sunshine and full of joy, sweetness, kindness, friendship, love and unwavering affection. She loved deeply with all of her being and will be missed so dearly by all who had the pleasure to know her. Rest easy now our sweet sweet puppy. 🐾

Tommy was a great companion. He marched to his own beat and that made him so unique. An indoor cat for his sixteen years and that’s the way he liked it. Although he did like to peak out the front door window to get a glimpse of any squirrels running around. He was definitely moms cat and would follow her around the house. RIP Tommy and say hi to Sandy in cat heaven.

Sweet Lexi girl you were one of a kind. You loved your people more then life itself. Some of your favourite things were cuddling, swimming, boating, being at the cottage, and chasing squirrels and bunnies. You loved everyone you met and loved to give everyone great big kisses. We will miss you forever and always xoxo

Hidey loved to hide! But also was the most affectionate little muffin. She may not have always welcomed everyone into her soft paws but when she did you better make sure your ready to be on hidey time. She was the best alarm clock around and had her schedule down pat! We will miss you Hide-a-roo

(July 15, 2007 - Nov. 22, 2021) You have left paw prints on our hearts that can never be erased. You can now have all the treats you desire. RIP peace our dear Tia.

We were fortunate enough to have our sweet Ruby in our lives for more than 18yrs. She has been there through everything. Ruby had the kindest personality and always wanted head scratches or to cuddle. She was an outspoken little lady and always made her presence known. She was more than just a cat, she was a big part of our family and losing her has left a void. She is greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts. Love you Ruby and thank you for your unconditional love throughout the years.

Maddy was a sweet caring dog. She loved playing goalie with our mini sticks playing hockey. She loved to swim and take bread from our grocery bag and eat what she could before being caught. She had a great personality and we miss her dearly

Our hearts are broken as we had to say goodbye to our sweet, gentle boy, Wally. Please click to read more...

Special good bye to my Maggie A true joy who loved unconditionally. Her character was from day one to show off the tongue. She was a rescue from an elderly couple that we knew must have given great love so she can rest with them now in peace

Goodbye to our beloved friend and companion. You had a sweet little soul and will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace.

We will miss you everyday. Gone but never forgotten, and better off having had you with us, even for what seems like was such a short time. You were truly a gift.

I know that she is still running and barking and loving on the other side of that Rainbow Bridge. Thank you, Gypsy, for adding so much to our lives.

Even during her time working with the amazing Allendale Rehabilitation team members she made everyone shake their heads and laugh. Her feisty can-do attitude always brought a smile to everyone who met her. The neighbourhood knew her, and people always stopped and took a moment to connect with her. She loved people.

For almost 18 years Gypsy was a beloved member of our family. Since the moment we brought her home, she changed our lives and worked her way into our hearts. Gypsy loved us unconditionally, protected us, lifted our spirits, and shared her love of walks, car rides and all things outdoors. For a small dog she was mighty. Mighty in character, mighty in being stubborn and mighty in how she loved. Instinctively she knew when you needed her by your side, and she would appear.

Casper, we will miss your chatter, company, exceptional greetings & pitter pattering around the house. You were the centre of our world & will always remain in the centre of our hearts. We love you.

(which he could open by himself!). Casper enjoyed car rides & walks, being chased around the backyard, as well as doing the occasional chasing when a daring squirrel came by! He became extra energized on cool, crisp evenings, running wildly around the yard, but also appreciated some good relaxing sun bathing. Casper remained a playful puppy all of his 13.5 years. He even had a few scars to prove the full life he lived, having bravely battled 5 whole operations like a trooper.

Our sweet & sassy Cabbie, You taught us how to love unconditionally, to live more fully & joyfully & to be present for each & every one of life's precious moments. Our Casper enjoyed the little things in life: being with family, nestling up to a cozy blanket after he worked it up just right or upon a snuggly lap, & looking out "mommy's window" to await the arrival of a loved one. Casper loved the holidays, especially Christmas for family gatherings, turkey & presents

We do know that the lessons you taught us - to love generously, be kind of heart and a true friend, and to find the joy in each and every day will carry us forward. Smiling through our tears.💞🐾🐾💕

Wrigley loved everything life had to offer. Thank you for 17+ amazing years “Little Miss, Wrigley Roo, Missy Miss, the Duchess, Peanut, (and recently, our youngest granddaughter Sofia called her) Mommy Doggie” - so many nicknames for such a sweet, loyal and loving little soul. We, and Rufus, are shattered, struggling and unsure what our tomorrows will look like now that you are no longer with us and living on only in our hearts and memories.

How do we say goodbye? “A dog doesn’t care if you are rich or poor, give him your heart and he’ll give you his.” (Marley and Me) That was Wrigley - she led with her heart. Our very good, and very best, wee girl found her wings Sept 30, 2021. She was a precious soul who was all about love and living bravely and beautifully. She shared life fully. All the adventures, good times, quiet times, difficult days and togetherness with unconditional love, steadfast companionship and true loyalt

Adventures, family, treats and chipmunks were the love of his life. Extremely smart, super snuggly and loved by all.

Some words about Louis would be that he was a big squishy gentle, kind, protective and most of all a great companion to my wife and I while she was going through her battle with cancer this past 14 months before her passing. He always brought a smile to our faces. He loved his walks in the forest.

THIS IS OUR LOVELY PET OREO,SHE PASSED AWAY SUDDENLY ON SEPT 15/2021.WE HAVE MANY CHERISED MEMORIES OF HER AS SHE WAS ALWAYS A PLAYFUL AND LOVING DOG.SHE WAS ALWAYS BY OUR SIDE AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET HER.

Love you little Farley. You were the most loving, outgoing and curious little bunny. We're so thankful to have known you. You were so full of life and now I'm sure you are frolicking and flopping in endless fields eating all the grass that you can. Your brother Riscoe and all your family miss you so much. We were not ready to say goodbye but your journey has taken you elsewhere. Until we meet again little Far - Sweet Dreams.

Sadie, we loved you deeply for 15.5years. You brought us so much joy, and love. ‘Sadie, you were our world’ Now you are running and jumping and free from pain… Until we meet again, Mom & Dad 🐾💕🐾🙏🏼

He will be forever loved and forever missed.

(Feb 8, 2013 - July 5, 2021) Maverick (nicknamed ‘puppy’ because of his personality) was taken too soon and we are heartbroken. He was a part of our family and the memories of him will never fade. Miss you so much my handsome boy. Love you xo

He was such a happy, playful and loving dog. He brought our family 13 years of joy and companionship. Jake will be forever in our hearts.

Forever in our hearts

Carter was born a street cat. We rescued him from a family who was just going to let them roam free. He ended up rescuing us as we had just put our precious Opi down and were all very sad. We weren't looking for a new cat, however Carter would have lived a poor life as a stray had we not welcomed him into our home, so the desicion was clear, we had to give him a better life.

He was apprehensive about us at first, but he settled in like old furniture. He added lots of love to our hearts, scratches to our furniture and cat hair to our clothes, but the love was unconditional. He only lived 6 years on Earth but we know he's living pain free now over the rainbow bridge.

Freyja was, and always will be a part of our family, and part of our story. She loved to cuddle in bed at night, and always made sure to keep a warm place in our bed throughout the day. The bed may feel cold without her, but her warmth will always be felt in our hearts.

"Love of my life and best friend for 15 years"

Max was 13 and was the craziest fun loving dog around. He loved going for walks and being around people. He was the happiest dog there ever was. His tail honestly never stopped wagging. We are so sad he is gone he truly was one of a kind. He is missed everyday but knowing he is at peace gives us comfort. RIP my beloved Max.

R.I.P. little man. Love you always xxxxooo

2 weeks ago we had to put Caleb to sleep. He was starting to suffer with an enlarged heart and heart murmur. He was an exceptional dog, very quite and obedient. He was always a good boy. Never gave us any trouble at all. We got him as a rescue and never regetted getting him. Right from day one he accepted Darcy our other boy. Best of friends they were. He always greeted us at the door, seldom barked and was an entertainer. He will be missed very much. We talk about him daily.

We miss him so much...R.I.P.,Darcy..Think of you daily...xxxxooo

I have just spent the entire life of my dogs with love and affection. Darcy was a fantastic dog right from the start. He was a very affectionate dog. When i was recovering from heart surgery, he never left my side. My wife had to bring his supper to my bed as he would not leave my side. He was very smart, but used to extend his bark..lol. He loved other dogs and played well with all. He loved his step brother Caleb too. They were the best of friends. He will be gone 2 years this November.

Our hearts are grieving as we remember and celebrate a life well lived, of a forever and faithful friend. I pray that she knows that we will always miss her, and that she will never be forgotten, and will always be loved. Rest in peace my baby girl. Always Loved, Never Forgotten. The Regan Family

Molly was a true joy to be around and she brought love, cuddles, kisses and comfort to all of our family when we needed it the most. She was by our side offering her love when we had our good days, bad days as well as our tearful and emotional days.

Molly enjoyed life to the fullest and like spending quality time with her family. She could often be found curled up on her favourite blanket, sleeping right beside her Mom while waiting for a gentle hand to pet her. Some of our favourite memories of Molly is our time spent with her on summer camping vacations, spending time at the beach and watching her run, play and have fun, family get together’s and holidays.

She was so full of love, energy and happiness each and every day and we were blessed to have been able to share 13 years of life with her. We loved her more than words can ever convey. Molly was diagnosed at a very early age with hip dysplasia, however she quickly adapted and lived a very active and happy lifestyle. Words can’t even begin to express the amount of Love, Loyalty, Laughter, Companionship and Playfulness that she had for our family, and we had for her.

December 7, 2007 to March 4, 2021 It is with great sadness that we helped our beloved Molly cross the Rainbow Bridge on March 4th, 2021. Our hearts are broken as after 13 wonderful years we had to say goodbye to our sweet, baby girl Molly. Molly was a beautiful Sable Merle Sheltie. Molly was a wonderful companion and friend for our entire family. Molly was a true joy to be around. She had the sweetest personality and had a very beautiful soul.

SHE WAS BEST FRIENDS WITH HER KITTY SISTER CALYPSO. AND DISPITE BEING 1/4 ZOEYS SIZE, CALYPSO TREATED ZOEY LIKE SHE WAS HER KITTEN. ZOEY WAS HER MOMS SUPPORT ANIMAL AND TRULY WAS HER WHOLE WORLD. FROM THE FIRST DAY SHE GOT HER AS A PUP AT 8 WEEKS TO THE DAY SHE SAID GOODBYE, EVERYDAY WITH ZOEY WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST BLESSING OF HER MOM'S LIFE. ZOEY, YOU WERE SO LOVED AND ARE TRULY MISSED. WE WILL ALWAYS CARRY YOU WITH US

ZOEY WAS OUR "MINI MASTIFF" ALTHOUGH BOTH HER PARENTS WERE OVER 130LBS, SHE ONLY EVER GREW TO 90LBS BUT WHAT SHE LACKED IN SIZE, SHE MADE UP FOR IN CUDDLES AND LOVE TEN-FOLD! SHE LOVED TO BE WITH YOU AND SNUGGLE! SHE WAS QUEEN COUCH POTATO OR OF THE BED, ANYWHERE COMFY FOR A NAP! ZOEY COULDNT BE HAPPIER THAN ROLLING IN THE GRASS IN THE BACKYARD OR PLAYING WITH A STICK. SHE'D PRANCE WHENEVER SHE GOT ONE. SHE ALWAYS HAD A SASSY WIGGLE WALK THAT MADE US SMILE.

Mr Fluff Our beloved cat died on March 5th 2021. He was the best cat we ever had. As a baby he would fetch a ball and always gave head butts for attention. We miss him so much. Rest In Peace sweet boy.

He liked to watch tv, he would sit in the chair on his butt, with his hind legs straight in front of him with one paw up on the arm and watch for hours! I love him so much and I miss him. He was “my sweet wee old man”

I first met Lucky when he was 5 and still with my neighbor. He and my puggle Rudy hit it off right away and were best friends. When Lucky was 11, his owner was not able to keep him. He was such a sweet little guy and I couldn’t let him go to the shelter so I became his Mommy. I never regretted it. After a few weeks of adjusting, I found out that he had quite a personality. Easy going good boy and funny as could be.

Cooper passed away at home on February 22, 2021. He would have been 13 years old in July. Cooper was very much a “Winter” dog and loved to play in the snow. He was a very gentle dog and is missed very much.

She will be greatly missed but we will always have great memories. Rest In Peace Witty. Until we meet again

Once that cuddle was established she soon started coming to us and demanding them. She really knew how to comfort and love us when we needed it most. She was with me 24/7 recovering from several surgeries and basically moved into our bed claiming it as her own. One of her favourite places to sleep was perched right on top of the decorative pillows on the bed. If I was in bed with her, she slept at my head or if she was cold she would weasle under the blankets and sleep next to my belly.

She liked to stick to herself and sleep mostly in high places when she was younger. She had her own "sleep box" on top of our fridge. We figure its because it was far away from our dog. Also whom she never warmed up to. 14 years this poor dog couldn't get any love from Mischief, just a hiss and a swat in the face. The last 5-6 years of Mischief's life, she began to warm up to people. (Except my sister in-law!) We could call her, she would come up to us and give us head rubs.

This is our precious Mischief. AKA Kitty AKA Witty. The was with us for 18 years. We got her as a kitten when we lived in our first apartment. One time in the middle of the night the neighbor below is came banging on our door accusing us of having a party.....Nope, just a wild kitten playing in the night! She had such a strong personality. She really didn't like anyone. Even my sister in-law who is a crazy cat person, never once was she able to pet Mischief.

Words can’t describe how special Manny was to us, he was such a wonderful member of our family. He was always there to make us laugh and cheer us up. He always knew when we needed him to be goofy or just to be there by our side . We will cherish all the time we had with him creating wonderful memories. We will miss him forever and he will remain in our hearts forever ❤️

Zoe in Greek means "Life" and that's what my Zoe was. She brought Life and unconditional Love into our home. You always greeted me at the door and you always said good bye, but I knew you just wanted me to scoop you up and take you for a car ride. Mommy's love, Mommy's joy. Oh Zo Zo Mommy misses you! I love you!

You were a handsome, smart, loving, protective and loyal pup. We will cherish your love forever. We will miss you very much. Love you baby. Love always, Your Family

Our good boy! You brought joy and laughter into our lives. We will remember our many traditions: like our morning breakfast playtimes, soccer games when you wanted to join the game just so you could get the ball, playing with the hose in the summertime, tug of wars with your soccer ball and chasing squirrels and so much more we can't list them all.

You were so kind to look after our little Misty on such short notice. We didn't have a vet for her as we took her in our home unexpectedly from a different area and she did not have a vet nearby. Misty was a sweet, gentle cat; she was my mother's comfort and joy. When my mother ended up with Alzheimers we moved both of them in with us. Eventually our mother passed on and we promised her we would take great care of her little friend. She became part of our family. We miss you already sweet Misty.

Words can not express the thanks our family has for everyone at Allandale for everything they did for Bella. They gave us the time and support we needed when it was time to let her go. Bella was one of a kind. She was destined to be part of our family. We knew that from the moment she shoved her brother out of the way so that she could get to us first. We could not have foreseen the amount of joy and happiness she brought to our lives in the eleven years she was with us.

Your personality was one of a kind. You always let us know when you had enough and showed us the love with your head butts and cat kisses. Even though you and Winnie didn't always get along, I know she misses you. You were always there to protect me with your little growls. You were my best friend, Putting her down was the hardest thing we ever had to do and left us with such heavy hearts. We love you so much, baby Snookie. Love Liane, Dan, Winnie xx00xx

Thank you to Dr. Pierre for all your care with Snookie. We are going to miss her so much, all the cuddles and the feisty playtimes. Keeping me company in your hammock while I worked from home. I'm gonna miss my work buddy. You were a part of our family for 10 years, you brought so much joy to our lives.

Luigi was such a good-natured boy who loved his family. He enjoyed cuddling and would follow me around like a shadow. He was such a comfort in dark times and we will miss him terribly.

Lexi was the sweetest girl and brought so much joy to our lives. It was so hard to say goodbye but you can Rest In Peace now sweet girl. We love you forever and will meet again at the Rainbow Bridge❤️🐾🐶

You were a blessing – a special gift from God. We will treasure these memories…forever!

In spite of pulled hair. You seemed to soak it all in – and revel…as did we. You touched our lives in so many amazing ways and we could always tell the ‘emotional’ temperature of our home by you. When we were upset – you were upset…same with excited, sad, sorrowful, and worried. Dr. Lechten was so amazing with you all of those years and the staff in boarding loved you – we are so grateful for their care.

How can we say good-bye to our welcome committee (of 1), our walking partner, our fellow couch dweller and our companion of 15½ years? It wasn’t easy – but it was for the best…your best. Your pain is over…you can see again (and hear!) and although you never lost your sense of smell – I want to believe the treats on the other side of the rainbow bridge are even better! We will not forget your gentleness – with our grandkids (even as toddlers).

Thank-you Dr Murphy and Dr Pierre for your care of Bandit who lived to 14 yrs old. He was a Toronto Humane Society rescue and brought to the countryside on a horse farm immediately upon adoption. He did a bit of agility, came along for a kayak ride and took his job as a loyal companion very seriously. Many woods and trails were explored. Made many friends. Always sweet temperatured, smart as a whip and grateful to be loved he will never be forgotten💕left a beautiful impression on our souls

With heavy heart we had to say our good bye to Dash at 10 years old, December 19, 2020. Dash's name suit him perfectly as he was dashing around the house and a very happy dog. He had given us so much love & happiness and will be dearly missed. You were our favorite Hello and our hardest Goodbye No longer by my side but forever in my ♥

With that adorable grin and those hypnotizing eyes, you gave us all your love and patience. Like a loyal friend, you were there in our good times and stood by during the bad times. We love you and miss you Rocky, Rocketta, Ciccio, Rocco del Sud…until we all meet again.

On the morning of December 19, 2020, your little heart stopped beating and you entered the path of heaven to reunite with Mommy and Papa. This past year, we watched you decline in health but you fought to stay with us as long as you could. Though it was the hardest goodbye for all of us, we all know you will no longer suffer and will now be at peace. With your mighty fierceness, you touched everyone’s heart each and every day.

After 10 short years of unconditional love, laughs and snuggles our little Bandit has gone to doggy heaven. We will always cherish the wonderful memories he has left us with. Love you my boy...Mommy, Zach and Belle

Lexie was a very happy dog. She loved to be outside: her favourite activities were catching her ball, finding the biggest sticks, swimming, and playing in the snow. She always had to be in the same room as her humans, always by our side. Lexie filled our lives with so much joy and will be greatly missed, forever in our hearts.

Your cute little face, white paw and puppy personality will be something I'll always remember. But it's the love, wet kisses and endless cuddles that I'll cherish a life time! My heart is broken knowing I'll never see my best friend again, my heart aches in pain but having you in my life I would never in a million years change. I love you my little puppy! And I'm sorry! Know that you'll never ever be forgotten Tyson💙I miss you!

They say when you get a pet you set yourself up for a heartbreak, boy is that an understatement! Although our house is full, it just feels so empty and quiet without you it's just so strange. You have brought us so much joy and laughter to our family. You being part of our family for almost 14 years has changed and helped us in so many ways you'll never know. You were one special dog with a heart of gold with so much life and love and the biggest and best personality I've ever seen.

The sweetest, best friend anyone could ever ask for! Sadly missed, never forgotten.

Turbo is very much missed, our hearts are broken. He was a wonderful companion, and loved being a Therapy Dog.

We brought you home 12 years ago. You brought us, humor and companionship, as well as being a great "mother" to Sumo. May you both run free, until we meet again. Sadly missed, never forgotten

We are grateful to have had his unconditional love for 14 years. Thank you to Dr. Lechten and the Allandale Vet team for your care and compassion, and for the peaceful send-off in the grass out back. RIP Rolie Polie. xo

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy, Polar, who was truly was loved by everyone and who gave that love right back. Polar‘s favourite things included rolling in the grass, nudging our hands/arms forcefully so he could be touched constantly, running after balls and sticks (even when he could barely run anymore) yet he never quite mastered the art of fetching! He also loved to come with us to the mailbox so he could carry home our mail. Our house is so quiet without him now.

Summer was a once in a lifetime dog. Always happy to meet people and the most loving, loyal companion one could ask for. You will never be forgotten❤️ Thank you to the staff of Allandale for always taking care if my baby😘

Junior was as tough as nails but as sweet as candy. He was so loved by everyone he met and loved everyone back. You will be missed Junior❤️❤️ Thank you to the staff at Allandale for always taking care of my boy😘

Our dear Sammi, we miss you very much. We still talk about you. I am sorry for anything that we did wrong. We love you. We could only imagine how happy you are up in Heaven with no more pain. Please say "Hello" to Squeky and Kesha for us.

He was my very best friend for 21 years and stood by my side through thick and thin. Anyone who met him immediately fell in love with his warm personality and he greeted everyone he met with a warm welcome and an invite to give him pets.

Forever in our hearts-DaisyMay XOXO

Our forever companion crossed the rainbow bridge on October 7th, 2020.

She misses you greatly, as does your brother and your little people who you were so tolerant of, especially when a little girl is dressing you up in hairbands, necklaces, clothes and tucking you in with blankets. Love you always!

Wally (orange cat) and his brother, Winston joined our family when they were 1 year old. Mommy never intended on getting a cat, let alone 2, though she quickly fell in love.Wally was such a snuggly, loveable cat who slept with his mom every night - either on her, in her arms or on her pillow.

You were the best girl ever, Lily. They say all dogs go to Heaven so we know you are up there bullying Tank around again. We miss you.

You were a gentle giant who could make the whole couch vibrate with your purring!! You enjoyed the lazier things in life. We will forever miss seeing you laying in the sunlight, snoring and the large amounts of orange furballs! You will be forever in our hearts . We love you Sammy ❤❤

Our hearts are broken as after 13 years we had to say goodbye to our oldest furry family member Samson, or Sammy to us. You were our first Canadian cat after we moved from England. We rescued you at about 9 months old and you joined our family 13 years ago. You immediately became the best companion to our 3 year old son. You accepted all other cats that followed becoming their father figure. You weren't quite as thrilled when we brought our dog home but you adapted!

Definitely a “Good Ol Boy” greatly missed.

When we found each other, you did everything right. All the cat things you did, made it impossible not to adopt you. I loved you through and through; all of you, even your tortitude. What companionship and communication we had; you were mine and I was yours. When your final day came, it broke my heart into so many pieces. One day, as soon as I can, I'll come for you at Rainbow Bridge; I promise.

Gracie was with us for nineteen years and will be greatly missed.

We have a monstrous hole in our hearts and we value our 13 years we had her in our lives. Our son has only known Shadow in his life. From a pup to an aged senior dog, we loved her and will always have her in our hearts forever. RIP Shadow “bear” Andrew, Christine and Jacob Howard

She was an incredible dog from the start. She never really got the whole fetch a ball thing. Swimming was a weakness until she was in the water for a bit, and oh the car rides, yikes, not the best, as she always needed treats to get in the car, but these 3 great things were what made her our Shadow “bear”. She loved her blue bunny which was a stuffy of our son at 2 years old, and carried it everywhere in the house, until a new brown stuffy doggy was a gift one Christmas.

Sadly she was laid to rest at Allandale Vet on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 at the age of 13 years old with my son who is now 15 years old, my husband and I at her side on a blanket outside of Allandale Vet under the tree in the back of the building. Dr Murphy and all of the staff have been incredible during our 13 years with them and our beloved Golden Shadow.

So sad to be writing this about our beloved Shadow. We picked Shadow out of 8 pups in her litter as she was just incredibly attached to our 2 year old son Jacob at the time. Jacob named a dog we were going to get before we even had a while Golden Retriever picked out, which is the ironic thing. Shadow was born September 22, 2007, and we brought her home to the Howard Family on November 21st, 2007

Dexter was a very loving cat. He loves to just sit and stare outside and would everytime you go get his food ready, he would run up to you. He loves treats and snuggles. He would greet you at the door or would wait until you get home. He is very much missed by his family.

June 27,2005 - September 9,2019 Marty was a very special member of our family for 14 years. He's left a huge hole in our hearts, we miss him every day. The 1st anniversary of his loss is approaching, it's been so hard without him. We love you buddy, thank you for bringing such love and joy into our lives. Your undying devotion, companionship, courageous, funny, silly, loyal, protector. My favorite hello & hardest goodbye ... Till we meet again, xo, Cathy, Liam & Afton

To My Beloved cat George, who lived a long life with me and before me my nephew Andy. He gave me many years of companionship and love. He can now join his buddy "Woody" the cat in Heaven. Love and kisses Baby Boy, you will be missed.

To our loving Bailey. Our hearts will always wear the paw prints left by you. You may no longer be by our side, but you will forever be in our hearts. If we could have one more day, we would walk again our favorite way, two friends together as before. If we could hold you once again, we would kiss your head, call your name and whisper gently as we part: "you are safe, asleep within our hearts" You no longer greet us as we walk through the door, you are not there to make us smile.Love mom & daddy

Willow I miss you my sweet angel. Willow was always so playful and loving. My best friend

“Zuki was the sweetest guy, and a best friend to us 4. Very easy to love, wanting nothing more than his family, his food & the sun. He will be missed!”

Monty loved walks, the cottage, eating garbage and his human brother Joel. He also put up with his dog sister Penny, most of the time.

Flower was the youngest member of our family for just over 15 years. She was loved beyond belief. She found great joy rolling in the grass at our summer home and sleeping in her bed beside the campfire. She will rest in the garden there and will always be the prettiest FLOWER in the garden. May 24, 2005 - June 19, 2020.

Milly was the sweetest and gentle cat picked out by our Son in 2006. She loved to head butt when she needed attention and we could do "strechies" by holding her lengthwise and she would stretch! Sitting on our shoulder and purring was her favourite thing. Millster Willster and Milly Vanilli and Millsty was some of our favorite nicknames...We all loved her so much and miss her greatly everyday . Rest in Peace Milly...You are forever in our hearts.

Boots was both sassy and loving, sleepy, and relaxed. She always loved a good treat, licking MANY things (especially plastic). She loved pettings behind her ears, and scratches at the base of her tail. While she wasn't a lap cat, she had her own way of showing affection that could make everyone attached to her. She is sorely missed.

He loved to play and be brushed. His purring was music to our ear. Bear gave us some much love we will never forget. Rest in peace my baby boy. Love your mom and dad.

Cuddly and full of spice! Buster loved finding the tiniest piece of sun to lay in and summer days at the cottage. He had a calm presence that filled the room with love. Xo

Lexxe, when you came into our lives 12 years ago we had no idea how much you would change our lives for the better. You immediately understood everything without any formal training. It was uncanny how intelligent you were. You were the best cuddler, gardener, therapist and friend. Our hearts are broken but we are forever grateful to have had you in our lives.

This little guy has been with my since my second year of college and watched me grow up. Thank you for always being a constant in my life and keeping me company on all our moves. You were the absolute best. You were never scared of the cats and always took your chance at scaring them. You lived through a lot for a little guy, and we wouldn't have had it any other way. Hope you're getting all the banana treats. We love you and miss you.

“To a little gal that always gave unconditional love, we love you and we will always remember the great times we had together.”

Ginny you came into our lives and embedded yourself deeply in our hearts. You were the perfect fit to our family and there’s been a big void since you left. We’ll love you forever and never forget our beautiful pup! We can only hope we brought as much joy to your life as you brought to ours. RIP Gin.

My Julia miss her deeply every minute of my life forever my brave sassy

"The 16years of love and laughter you gave us will forever be remembered. Your gentle and caring heart touched everyone around you, we will miss you Rocco. My bff...my love...my puppy."

Abbey came into our lives 12 years ago as a rescue from a puppy mill. She had the sweetest personality and disposition and was full of so much love. All she wanted to do was cuddle and be with us wherever we were whether it is was inside or outside. Everyone fell in love with her gentleness, her personality and her adoring face. We took Abbey with us on several of our road trips over the years. She was the best traveller ever and we have some of the best memories with her. RIP our sweet Abbey xo

“Hobbes was my best friend in the universe. He had such a beautiful, gentle soul. He taught me so much about myself and about life. I loved him dearly, and he will be greatly missed. RIP Hobbes.”

“Wilson and Pawsy, we miss you dearly. Thanks for all the love we shared”

Babygirl was always such a happy dog. She loved playing in the snow and her favourite toy was her dog stuffy that looked like her. She always tried to eat the vacuum and the hose. And we will miss her deeply. Nobody will ever replace her.

On April 11th, 2020 at 11:11am was when we had to say our toughest goodbye to our sweet boy Copper. Copper lived the best life any dog could ever live, he always knew how to comfort and listen when our family needed him most. He was so full of love, energy and happiness each and everyday, and we are so blessed to have been able to share 14 years of life with him. We will love and remember you always Copper. Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge, may you rest easy now sweet boy ♥️

"The friendliest dog ever"

This little girl brought an abundance of unconditional love and trust into our world and was willing to share it with anyone she met. I was the lucky one to be Blessed to be her Dad. Coco... my definition of Love Until we meet again, you'll be sadly missed. Dad

Finn was my best friend from the day we brought him home to the day we had to say goodbye. We were blessed to have 13 1/2 years with you and miss you so much. So much could be written about how much of a wonderfully awesome loving dog you were but that still wouldn't do you justice. Goodbye our handsome boy, we love you, run free.

Sadly missed, never forgotten Until we meet again

Daisy was one special girl we have ever had, she was truly one of a kind as a family member our hearts have shattered into a million pieces after losing her our home will never be the same , but truly blessed we had her for 15 years gone but never forgotten. 😭😭😭😭😭

August 20, 2006 - March 19, 2020 Finn was my best friend from the day we brought him home to the day we had to say goodbye. We were blessed to have 13 1/2 years with you and miss you so much. So much could be written about how much of a wonderfully awesome loving dog you were but that still wouldn't do you justice. Goodbye our handsome boy, we love you, run free.

Halley was an amazing little rat, with a huge personality. She was one of the sweetest and smartest rescues I've had the pleasure of taking in. It didn't matter what time it was or how long I'd been gone, the moment I walked through the door she would be there to greet me. I would have given anything for just a little more time with her. Halley really was one in a million.

Her name was Taz and we had her since Aug 2004 when she was a little kitten. She was very loving and affectionate, often showing her love through cuddles and cat kisses. She was fiercely protective of her loved ones and would chase dogs away. At night, she would curl up in bed with us and purr while we fell asleep. Her personality was one of a kind and she was truly special.

Coco was out first family dog and although this is a picture of her in final days it was one of our favourites. She was so very special to us and a formidable presence in our lives. Many described her as a gentle giant and that’s exactly who she was... a sweet dog with an intense presence at the front door and on our walks. She was with us for 14 years and she became my youngest son’s best friend. Putting her down was the hardest thing we ever had to do and it left us with heavy hearts.

Harlow was the wild child at home. He enjoyed running back and forth upstairs, jumping up on his cat tree, jumping from the stairs to clear the pet gate at the bottom, following & rubbing against his canine brother Leviathan every morning, being groomed by his feline big sister Hunter and giving unconditional love to his owner's Alex and Patricia. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Paradise little buddy <3

Pearl “BG” Guillemette June 29 2008 - January 12 2020 The best boxer dog that ever was or ever will be. Life won’t be the same without you and we are so lucky to have had you as apart of our lives for the time that we did.

There'll come a day, when again we'll play As we reunite at the Rainbow Bridge Goodbye my dear friend We'll remember you forever You truly were our Golden Boy

Adopting you and your sister gave us 5 1/2 years of pure joy, you never stopped bringing us joy and laughter. You never stopped surprising us everyday with your funny antics, your skip when you walked, your alarm bark when l was late with meals but most of all, those eyes that showed us you loved us and knew we loved you. Your life over the rainbow bridge will bring you joy and happiness and the wait for us to be together will pass quicker............. Until we meet again my Heidi Ho.........

Max was the most loyal, protective & lovable best friend anyone could ever ask for. “If love could have saved you, you would have loved forever.” Rest In Peace our handsome bear❤️

Although her life was a short 7 months, she brought us a lot of love and affection which was returned in spades. Part Siamese and tabby she was an amazing retriever. She loved fetching a rolled up paper ball and bringing it back over and over. She is missed by her three siblings.

You will be greatly missed. You were our whole world. You provided us with unconditional love. You always will be forever in our hearts. Love always, Mom, Dad and your sisters

Although her life was a short 7 months, she brought us a lot of love and affection which was returned in spades. Part Siamese and tabby she was an amazing retriever. She loved fetching a rolled up paper ball and bringing it back over and over. She is missed by her three siblings.

Our Niko was our best friend, did everything with us & is missed daily. He had cancer removed but came back & was only 6.5 yrs old when he passed away. Everyone loved him & we’ll always cherish our memories of him! We love you Niko!

Rest easy Jake I loved you so much!

Mahla was the rock that held our family together and the decision to let her go was truly the worst decision we have ever had to make. Losing her has created a hole is myself, along with my wife and 3 daughters lives. We will never forget our best friend and family member. Every day she filled us with joy. I hope she is having fun with our previous cats and dogs who have all gone to the next life. There are not enough words to say about the joy she brought us and the memories we will have.

OUR LITTLE PRINCESS LOVES TO '' SLEEP IN''

During my first 6-7 years, I was knocked around from home to home before I found Golden Rescue. One day I was sent to these people who lived right on Georgian Bay with three other dogs. They called it a foster home. I called it paradise. I was there a few weeks having the time of my life, fishing every day and playing with my new siblings. Then I was whisked away to yet another home. Within a year, I found myself back on Georgian Bay and I thought to myself…finally I’m home!

Oh, for the love of Tigg! Never have we known a cat who could get himself into so much trouble. But never have we known a cat who could give so much love.

We got Tiger as a kitten when my grandmother passed away.

Suuki was a beautiful spirit in a majestic dog body. She loved all people, big and small and was known as the ‘puppy whisperer’ due to her ability to gently teach young dogs how to behave. She filled our home with love and grace for over fifteen years. She was my first agility partner and taught me so much.

Sunny came into our lives in 2006 as a rescue from a kill shelter in Ohio, USA. She was found on the streets, & was around 2 yrs old, skinny & scared of pretty much everything. We soon gained her trust, & she won our hearts over. We gave her the best life we could, full of treats & road trips, where she would put her head out of the window & feel the breeze in her fur with a look of content.

Spooks was a Syrian hamster. With interesting colouring and a personality to match.

Splash was a sweet, funny, ball obsesed girl. In her later years she could often be found curled up in her favorite chair. Splash will be missed by her whole family but especially by Dad, as she was a true Daddy’s girl. Splash we thank you for 14 years of love, and happiness. With tears in our eyes and a heavy heart we will think of you always.

Spice was a bundle of mischief, love and fun right from the first day my daughter found him wandering on the sidewalk in front of our house after he had escaped his outdoor pen down the street from us.He loved chewing on all kinds of stuff that wasn’t good for him, and I had to keep finding better hiding places for my elastic bands so he wouldn’t try to eat them.

Roger had the gentlest personality. Was good with people, but disliked other dogs. We know he came from Ohio where his last years were hard, ending up in the pound

She loved life, kids, playing ball, swimming and Christmas. She would amuse herself & our family. To our beautiful kitty Rhea We miss you so much and will love you forever.

Rex came to us as a “throw away” dog. I was his 3rd owner and I planned on being the last one. He was a very hyper dog which made him “unmanageable” according the his previous owners so I made it my mission to prove them all wrong. Yes, Rex had many issues due to being locked up and not properly trained or socialized. We spent countless hours researching to find what worked best for our big beautiful boy – and we found it.

Princess was and will always be part of us.She was taken from us but I do know that one day we will be together again.

Forever loved, missed and always remembered by Jane, Sean, Emma Lee and Sawyer (and Pepper too)

We lost both Precious and Daisy within a month of each other. We got them as rescues when they were about 5 years old and they gave us so much joy for the last 11 years. Daisy was the aggressive one of the two. She would never bite or anything but compared to Precious she was aggressive. Precious was just that PRECIOUS! They were sisters (had the same mom) and we did not want them to live their lives apart from each other and Precious did not want to live without Daisy as she passed only a month

really miss Precious she will always be my little girl.

Polar came into our family 5years ago. We weren’t sure how old he was, an estimate was about 5 or 6, and he quickly won us all over! He wasn’t much for cuddles but if he liked you he would give you a quick one when you least expected it! He was intuitive and knew if you weren’t feeling well, he would stay close and not leave your side. Polar loved playing ball, going for a swim and having a good belly scratch! He was a friendly giant who is missed beyond words.

Pockets 13 years, 9 months Our best friend, our companion, our pet

Pippi Longstockings (Feb7, 2002 - Nov 26, 2013) Pippi was an amazing, gentle little Duck Toller and a deeply loved and loving friend.

Nearly 11 years ago, Piper and her five other liter mates were dumped at the shelter I was working at at just 4 weeks old. I had the honour to foster her and two of her sisters for about 5 weeks. Piper was the runt of her little. She was a little tanned, blue eyed pitchy bark pocket pitty. She had quite the personality at such a young age. She was spunky, high energy, loved to run, play fetch and she would get very playful as I would grab her front paws in a game.

Percy had a rough start in life, and we got him when he was about a year old. We were lucky to have him for a little over 5 years. His short life, was a happy time for him.

Today we had to say goodbye to my dear pet friend Pepper. After coping 10 years with kidney disease, he will be chasing birds and mice in pet heaven. This was the greatest cat I ever had and he will be deeply missed. He walked into the house in Belgium 12 years ago and never left me since. He protected me when I needed it and loved me through thick and thin. He used to look straight into my eyes and lay in my arms like a baby. Outside a fierce hunter. Inside all the love you can imagine. I’m s

There are too many words to describe this big guy. He was loved by many in such a fierce way that there were tears shed on his passing by family and friends. I had no idea he had such an impact on so many people. He was a gentle boy who gave his all to those he loved and protected.

Merlin was my companion and friend for 13 years. He would greet me when I got home from work and just seeing him always made a bad day better. She was 12 months old when we got her and left us in November 2014…she brought us a lot of laughter and love…we will never forget her and we miss her a lot….

Thank you for your care and compassion for Bailee over the years. She was such a sweet dog and, of course, a huge part of our family; especially for me. She was an great dog; never ran away, didn’t chew up our shoes or furniture, only barked at the doorbell, was able to do a few ‘tricks’, loved to cuddle with us…she was an ideal pet and will be missed terribly.

She was very curious, mysterious and beautiful. She will be missed and always remembered. Rest In Paradise Aurora

We will miss you sweet baby girl, from Mommy and Daddy, Be free little one.

Asher was the most amazing, loveable, sweetest boy in the world. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. Anyone who had the joy of being in his presence, would always get his special head hugs. We love you and miss you so much. God bless you. Howard, Gloria and Elizabeth Tavroges

Angel was found a kitten in the pouring rain under a bush outside the Salvation Army in Cambridge, thus she was named Angel and given a loving home with my parents

Feb 1 – July 13 2017 Amber came into our family in 2005, she was the cutest lil puppy. We had chosen her name as there was an Amber alert and the child was found the day we brought Amber home. So we felt that her name would be in honour of the child. For 3 years she was my comfort during my cancer treatments, but more she brought laughter into our lives. Amber loved to swim at my sister’s cottage, she loved her sister Cheyna another one of our dogs, Who misses Amber very much.

Altin Kaya is loosely translated to "solid gold"

Abra was such a beautiful German Shepherd, She started her career as a drug detection dog

Abby was a lovely dog who was always happy to welcome us home with enthusiastic tail wagging and big "smiles". Abby loved her food with a passion and spent a lot of time in the kitchen looking for more!

Abbey was a best friend to all of us, all she required for her loyalty was ear scratches and tummy rubs.

We will always remember the member of our family who loved everyone, unconditionally. We will miss his slurpy kisses...his love of cookies...his demand for walkies...his wagging tail...and yes, even his occasional flatulence.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our special friend MiniWheat. You were a huge part of our lives, giving us joy, laughter and unconditional love for 18 years. You grew up with our children who loved you dearly, playfully behaved like a dog chasing your football and bringing it back to us, sitting patiently waiting for treats and so many other quirks, too many to mention here but will be lovingly remembered by us all.

They were sweet, silly, affectionate and loyal, making complete joy and privilege to be their parents. Baxter passed away of Hemangiosarcoma, followed by Nova of severe arthritis and liver failure. These two changed our lives in all of the best ways possible, they will be remembered as our best friends and first loves.
